Creative Path is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in November 2007. Our focus is to develop and implement various charter schools. Creative Path was awarded a planning grant to develop academies in Flint and Detroit Michigan. Our goal is to have academies throughout the Great Lakes Region.
These Academies will deliver academic excellence while connecting students to the community implementing a Criminal Justice Program. The first year will open to youth ages 12-14 and add subsequent grades each year until the academies are fully functional high schools. These Academies will implement the following:
- Increase family involvement and support for academic programs
- Create broad-based collaborative partnerships between the classroom and community
- Maximize academic achievement through real-life connections
- Develop intervention and prevention strategies
